Thoughts On The World

They stand their starving,
Dying slowly as the world goes by.
We could help then.
We could save them.
Is the world really blind?
Or are we just shutting our eyes.
Someone must know about this.
Someone must want to help.
How can we just turn out backs,
Leave innocent people to die.
We could solve their pain and save their lives.
Instead we focus on killing more people,
For they are plotting to kill us.
That is what they say.
Can't someone stand up and show us right.
Or will we have to wait untill another generation dies.
